The RRESA (rresa.org) is born of a collaboration between "Young algerian and french Geographers", working on Saharan spaces, to concretize their cooperation through an exchange platform.

This website is the first step in a recent cooperation, which aims to be multidisciplinary. Space for exchange, sharing of knowledge and skills ... this site is intended as a forum for discussion and confrontation of views and scientific projects in Saharan spaces. This website offers downloadable documents, an online bibliography, many links to research on Saharan spaces, it also presents RRESA’s researchers , as well as informations on scientific events (conferences...).

The network has grown and now employs researchers from different geographical origins : Algeria, Italy, France, Mali and Niger, but also diverse disciplinary backgrounds : Geography, Sociology, Anthropology, Economics.

Network researchers are the first contributors to this platform, including its articles, which has emerged as a vehicle for dissemination of current research about Sahara.

The RRESA continues to be a network open to participation of young researchers, European as African to represent the emerging issues and current scientific research concerning the Sahara.

The RRESA hope you’ll enjoy your visit.
